The interior design really turns the loft conversion space into a home. The two ways to begin this process is either plastering or using a tape and jointer method. Plastering requires more materials, is more labour intensive and can reduce that all important space with a heavy coating. Not only that, plaster absorbs paint more than a tape and jointer finish, requiring you to purchase more. The render we prefer to use is tape and jointing – this evens out each layer of plaster board for a smooth finish. Not only that, the boards only need two layers of coating allowing for a smooth finish that doesn’t invade the space around.
